This 63-acre park - Hampton National Historic Site - commemorates major phases of American social, cultural, and economic history across three centuries through seven generations of one family, the Ridgelys, and their large and diverse work force.

Please visit the park and this website often to learn more about the life and times of the Ridgely family, and about all of our exciting events that celebrate Hampton and its history - The park is open 7 days a week, 9 am to 5 pm. The Mansion & Museum Shop are open 10 am to 4 pm. Call the Visitors' Center to verify: 410-823-1309, x-237.

A Child's View of Hampton 8/22, 1 pm. See the Mansion through the eyes of a child. Hands-on activities will enable children with an adult chaperone to relate to those who lived on the Ridgely estate.
