CALL FOR ENTRIES:
A SCHOOL-BASED EXHIBITION OF WORKS INSPIRED BY HAMPTON
Exhibit, reception, awards at Hampton:
Saturday, September 15, 2012, from 2 to 4 pm
Exhibit continues at Hampton:
Sunday, September 16, 2012, from 10 am to 4 pm
Location: The Orangery, Hampton National Historic Site

~ Any original artwork inspired by Hampton National Historic Site may be submitted.
~ Work may be in any 2-dimensional medium: painting, drawing, photo, and mixed media.
~ Each artist is allowed only one entry, which may not exceed 18”x24” in size.
~ Exhibit will be installed with Velcro. Artwork should be matted or mounted on a light-weight backing.
Stretched canvases are allowed. Framing is not allowed.
~ Each piece must have a 3” x 5” note card attached, with name, title, medium, school, name of art teacher,
and artist’s contact information (email and phone number).
Awards: There will be cash prizes awarded for "Best In Show" at the following levels:
1-Elementary School, 2-Middle School, 3-High School/G.E.D., and 4-Teacher
All artists selected to exhibit will receive a certificate of participation.
Submissions: Must be received by the BCPS Office of Visual Arts by Friday, September 7, 2012.
Artists will be notified via email about exhibit selection by September 10, 2012.
