From Towson or points north: From Dulaney Valley Road just north of Rt. 695, turn so you will head east onto Hampton Lane (head west and you will be on the entrance to Rt. 695). You will almost immediately approach a stop sign. Stop, then proceed onto Hampton Lane. Go approximately 1/2 of a mile. Turn right into the main Park entrance and you will find parking lots up ahead on your right and left. The Visitors' Center is located in the West Hyphen of the Mansion. From here you may explore 40+ acres of grounds which contain the Hampton Mansion, two stables, the Orangery, the newly restored Ice House, the family crypt and cemetery and the formal gardens, and various other outbuildings. The National Park Service and the HHI offices are also located here.

Or, you may continue on Hampton Lane for another 1/4 of a mile and turn left onto the gravel road for the 20+ acre farm, which includes the 18th century Farmhouse, Slave Quarters, Dairy, and Mule Barn. Continue along the gravel road for the parking lot.

From the Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore: From the intersection of Light and Pratt Streets, proceed east on Pratt Street for about 1/2 of a mile. Turn left at President Street, which becomes Rt. 83 North. Proceed on Rt. 83 for about 10 miles, then merge onto Rt. 695, heading east toward Towson. Follow directions below, from the west...

From the Baltimore Beltway (Rt. 695):

From the west, take exit 27B - Dulaney Valley Road north. Loop around the exit ramp and stay toward the right in the exit lane. Turn right at Hampton Lane. You will almost immediately approach a stop sign. Stop, then proceed onto Hampton Lane. Go approximately 1/2 of a mile. Turn right into the main Park entrance and you will find parking lots up ahead on your right and left.

From the east, take exit 28 - Providence Road. Loop around the exit ramp. At stop sign, turn left and proceed on Providence Road for approximately 1/3 of a mile, then turn left at the first traffic light onto Hampton Lane. Proceed on Hampton Lane for about 7/10 of a mile. The entrance to the Farm will be on your right. Or, proceed another 1/4 of a mile for the entrance to parking at the Mansion side on your left.

The Visitors' Center is in the West Hyphen of the Mansion and is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily during the summer months, and on limited days during the winter months. To inquire about tours and times, please call the NPS Visitors' Center before your visit: 410-823-1309, x-251.
