On Saturday, August 18, Towson artist Elliot Azzam led the latest HAI workshop. The theme: The Watercolor Dance: Sidelining your inner control freak. According to Elliot, one of the most challenging aspects of taking up watercolors is the notion that it is difficult to control. That, she feels, is what makes it fun! In this workshop participants learned to harness watercolor’s inherent capricious nature to create a lively, colorful painting.
