Experience Hampton

HHI supports the programming and preservation of the Hampton National Historic Site, the core of what was once a vast 25,000-acre estate owned by the Ridgely family from 1790 – 1948.

Centuries later, in 1948, the site was preserved by the National Park Service based on the architectural significance of the mansion. In 1980 the Lower Farm, including original slave quarters and farmhouse, was added to the site. Today there are 62.04 acres to explore.
